Sarah Foley each broke school records on Thursday evening, as the Blue Devils completed day three of the ACC Championships. The Duke men remained in 10th (152), while the women remained in sixth (347) on Thursday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Senior Brad Sanford broke the school record in the 100-butterfly on Thursday morning, posting a time of 46.26 in prelims, before cutting his official record time to 46.16 and a fourth-place finish in finals. The record was previously held by Ben Tuben (46.35) set during the 2012 season.
- Junior Sarah Foley broke another one of her own school records on Thursday, dropping nearly two seconds off her 400-IM time. Foley finished fourth clocking a time of 4:06.25, beating her previous record of 4:08.97.
- In the 100-butterfly, junior Aleyna Ozkan recorded the fourth fastest performance in program history, clocking in at 52.77 during finals.
- Senior Matthew Knox capped off the night for Blue Devils, registering the third fastest time in program lore in the 200-freestyle (1:35.69).

UP NEXT
- The Blue Devils continue the ACC Championships on Friday morning with prelims for the 200-butterfly, 100-backstroke, 100-breaststroke and women's platform diving. Prelims will begin at 9:30 a.m., before finals begin at 5:30 p.m.
