Duke Travels for Elite Invitational

DURHAM - The Duke fencing team is set for its final competition of the fall season this weekend at the Elite Invitational, hosted by Ohio State.
Competition will kick off Sunday at 8:30am in the French Field House and will run until 6pm.
The ninth-ranked Blue Devil men are slated to face No. 1 Notre Dame, No. 3 Princeton, No. 4 Ohio State, Cleveland State and Stanford.
The ninth-ranked Duke women will battle No. 1 Princeton, No. 2 Notre Dame, No. 5 Ohio State, No. 14 Stanford, No. 7 Denison (DII) and Cleveland State.
Duke is coming off a successful weekend at the Temple Open as the Blue Devils posted six top-three performances and 14 top-10 finishes.
Following this weekend, Duke will open its 2024 season at the Philadelphia Invitational Jan. 20-21.
