SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Duke women wrapped competition at the 2026 NCAA Women's Fencing Championships Friday evening with junior
Charlotte Koenig (foil) garnering All-America honors to headline the Blue Devil performances.
Koenig made a five-spot improvement from her 2025 finish (17th) at the national meet, earning an honorable mention nod at the 2026 event after finishing 12th overall with a 12-11 record in pool play. The All-America accolade was the second of Koenig's career, having earned second team recognition via a ninth-place finish as a freshman. The New York, New York, product gives the Blue Devil women an All-America selection in foil in six of the last seven years.
Also representing the Blue Devil women were graduate student
Yeva Mazur (epee) and juniors
Natalie Olsen (sabre) and
Sophia Shen (foil). Mazur took 17th after going 10-13 during the two days of competition, Shen (7-16) placed 19th in her first NCAA event, with Olsen (8-15) rounding out the trio in 21st.
Overall, the Duke women finished in 11th place with 37 points. Notre Dame captured the title with 102 points.

The NCAA Men's Fencing Championships get under Saturday morning. Duke's epee and sabre fencers take the strips starting at 9 a.m., while foil gets going at 11 a.m. The semifinal and championship bouts commence Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
