ATLANTA – The Duke diving team wrapped up its time at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championship on Wednesday at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga.

Sophomore diver
Seamus Harding Jr. finished eighth in the men's platform diving with a score of 681.85 to close out the competition. Harding Jr. narrowly missed NCAA qualification as the top seven in the event were eligible to compete at the NCAA Championship.

During the four-day meet, Duke saw three women's divers earn qualification to the NCAA Championship. Freshman
Margo O'Meara led the way by qualifying in all three collegiate events, while senior
Maddi Pullinger will compete in the one- and three-meter events. Junior
Ali Watson will join O'Meara in platform diving.

Five Blue Devils are set to compete at the 2022 NCAA Women's Swimming & Diving Championship. In addition to the three divers, sophomores
Sarah Foley (200 freestyle, 200 breaststroke and 200 individual medley) and
Catherine Purnell (500 freestyle, 200 butterfly and 400 individual medley) also qualified.
