DURHAM – The fifth-ranked Duke women's tennis team returns to action this weekend as the Blue Devils welcome Boston College and Syracuse for a pair of ACC contests.
The Blue Devils (8-1, 4-0 ACC) will face the Eagles on Friday at 5:00 p.m., before squaring off against the Hokies Sunday afternoon at 12:00 p.m.
Duke features a trio of singles players and two doubles pairs in the ITA rankings heading into the matches – junior
Chloe Beck leads the way in singles action at No. 9, followed by 23rd-ranked senior
Georgia Drummy and 84th-ranked freshman
Emma Jackson. The Blue Devil tandems of Beck and senior
Margaryta Bilokin along with Drummy and sophomore
Karolina Berankova check in at No. 35 and No. 79, respectively, in doubles rankings.

Boston College – Record: 5-4, 2-2 ACC | All-time series: Duke leads 17-0
The Eagles come into the matchup after splitting their last two conference matches on March 4 and 6. Boston College defeated Clemson, 5-2, before dropping a 1-6 decision to Georgia Tech. The squad features one ranked doubles pairing – No. 75 Maria Aguiar / Laura Lopez.
Duke has swept all 17 meetings in the all-time series between the two sides, including a 6-1 win last during the 2021 season.
Syracuse – Record: 7-4, 1-3 ACC | All-time series: Duke leads 11-0
The Hokies open their weekend with top-ranked North Carolina before taking on Duke in the second of two matches. Syracuse is coming off a split during its second weekend of ACC play, falling to Georgia Tech (4-3) before sweeping Clemson 4-0.
Duke has not lost a game to the Orange in the 11 meetings between the two sides.

No. 5 Duke enters the slate of matches after being idle last weekend. The last time the Blue Devils took the court, they went 2-0 with wins over then 12th-ranked Virginia (4-3) and Virginia Tech (7-0) to improve to 8-1 on the young season and 4-0 in ACC action.

- Kelly Chen currently sits in ninth on the Duke career singles list with a 123-45 mark, as well as 18th on the career doubles list at 87-44. Overall, the senior owns a 210-99 combined career singles and doubles record – good for ninth all-time in program lore. Chen needs eight more wins to move into a tie for eighth with Jessi Robinson.
- The Blue Devils returned to the top 10 in the ITA rankings after leaping five spots to No. 9 from their previous ranking of 14th. Duke is also ranked T-6th in the Tennis Channel / USTA College Tennis Top 25
- Freshman Emma Jackson was tabbed the ACC Women's Tennis Freshman of the Week following a 3-0 record through two wins over then No. 12 Virginia Tech (4-3) and Virginia Tech (7-0).
