DURHAM – Three incoming Blue Devils were tabbed First Team Preseason All-Americans by Perfect Game as they enter their final seasons of prep baseball before joining Duke in the summer.

Southpaw Oliver Santos (Newport Coast, Calif.), right-handed pitcher Kassius Thomas (Northridge, Calif.) and shortstop Cole Young (Wexford, Pa.) were named to the first team to lead the incoming Duke class. Right-handed pitcher Aidan Weaver (Jamison, Pa.) was the lone future Blue Devil tabbed on the Second Team, while nine Duke commits were named Honorable Mention Preseason All-Americans.

Each of the four were also named to the First Team All-Region in their respective regions by the publication. Young leads the group, ranking No. 25 among high school seniors by Perfect Game. Santos is not far behind, tabbed 28th in the class. Thomas (No. 35) and Weaver (No. 59) round out the Duke prospects in the top-60.

Duke's class of 2022 recruiting class currently ranks 19th in the country by Perfect Game. The Blue Devils are one of just two ACC schools to hold four or more commitments from student-athletes that rank in the top-100 in the class.
