CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The Duke swimming and diving team concluded the UNC Last Chance Meet on Saturday at Koury Natatorium in Chapel Hill, N.C.

The UNC Last Chance Meet was Duke's final preparatory meet prior to the 2022 NCAA Zone B Diving Championship and the 2022 NCAA Championship in March.

At the meet on Saturday, two Blue Devils recorded career-best times in the preliminaries to improve their NCAA 'B' cut times.

Senior
Easop Lee recorded a 1:54.06 in the 200 backstroke to improve her previous time by 0.29 seconds. She currently ranks second in program history in the event.

In the 200 butterfly, sophomore
Catherine Purnell swam a mark of 1:55.61 to rank second all-time at Duke. She improved her NCAA 'B' standard time in the event by over a second to move into the top-35 times nationally this year.

Duke now shifts its attention to the NCAA Championship, as women's qualifiers will be announced in the coming week. In addition, the Duke diving team preps for the NCAA Zone 'B' Diving Championship, which will take place March 5-9 in Atlanta.
