DURHAM – The Duke wrestling program (7-9, 0-4 ACC) will honor its graduating seniors, hosting No. 23 Pittsburgh (7-6, 1-3 ACC) for the regular season finale on Friday at 7 p.m., in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Duke got two wins from the Finesilver brothers but dropped a 30-9 decision to Virginia on Saturday afternoon in Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Josh Finesilver opened the scoring for the Blue Devils, recording a win by fall over No. 31 Jarod Verkleeren. The Greenwood Village, Colo., native was in a tight battle in the third period, before seizing an opportunity and pinning his Cavaliers opponent. The win was his fourth against a ranked opponent this year and sixth overall victory by fall.

Matt Finesilver also added a win, controlling Justin Phillips for a 6-0 decision at 174 pounds. Finesilver won his 17th decision that ended in no points for his opponent this season and his 32nd win by decision all-time, picking up his first ACC win of the season.

- The Blue Devils and Panthers are meeting for just the ninth time, with the Blue Devils searching for the first win in the young series.
- In the last meeting, the Blue Devils got wins from Josh Finesilver and Patrick Rowland, but fell 31-12 in Pittsburgh.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- The Blue Devils will honor six wrestlers in the graduating class. Josh Finesilver, Matt Finesilver, Ben Frye, Ty Mills, Ty Naquin and Kaden Russell will be recognized pre-game for their contributions to the program.
- Both Finesilver brothers carry national rankings via InterMat, with Josh Finesilver checking in at No. 14 in the nation at 149 pounds, while Matt ranks No. 16 in the 174-pound weight class.
- Redshirt senior Matt Finesilver is looking to secure his place in the top-10 all-time winning percentages at Duke. The Greenwood Village, Colo., native owns a career record of 73-22 (.768), which currently ranks eighth all-time in program history.
- The Blue Devils have seven wins for their most single season wins since the 2017-18 season.
- Josh Finesilver recorded his 75th win against No. 31 Jarod Verkleeren on Feb. 12 and his brother Matt Finesilver is close behind at 73 career victories.
- Redshirt senior Kaden Russell is closing in on 40 career victories. The Cleveland, Ohio, native stands at 38 in his career.
- The Blue Devils are seeking to improve individual seeding heading into the ACC Championship. The Panthers lineup features six ranked wrestlers, giving ample opportunities for signature wins.
