DURHAM – The Duke baseball program announced its fall slate on Monday, and it includes two exhibition games, the team's annual scout day and two three-game intrasquad contests.

The Blue Devils kicked off preparation for the 2022 season on Aug. 23 with the start of individual workouts. Duke's full team practices begin Oct. 5, following Duke's Fall Break.

Duke's first exhibition game will be against Davidson on Oct. 16 at Atrium Health Ballpark in Kannapolis, N.C. The Blue Devils continue their longstanding relationship with the Wildcats as Duke head coach
Chris Pollard is an alumnus of the Davidson program. Last season, Duke took both meetings from the Wildcats, 7-3 on March 2 and 18-2 on May 18.

The recently built 4,930-seat Atrium Health Ballpark is the home of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers, the Low-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. Fan attendance will be permitted, and admission will be free of charge.

A rematch of the 2021 ACC Championship game will take place on Oct. 22, as the Blue Devils face N.C. State at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in downtown Durham in their second exhibition game. First pitch is set for 5 p.m. and tickets will be on sale to the public at the Durham Bulls ticket office.

In the 2021 ACC Championship game, Duke topped the Wolfpack 1-0 at Truist Park in Charlotte to capture its first ACC tournament title under the current tournament format.

In addition to the team's two exhibition games, the Blue Devils will participate in intrasquad scrimmages that are open to fans. Leading into its first exhibition game, Duke will hold scrimmages on Thursday, Oct. 14 and Friday, Oct. 15 at Jack Coombs Field.

The first three-game scrimmage series will take be Thursday, Oct. 28 – Saturday, Oct. 30. The scrimmages will be open to the public (free admission) and take place at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Duke will hold another three-game scrimmage series the following week, Thursday, Nov. 4 – Saturday, Nov. 6 at Jack Coombs Field. The series will be open to the public.

Duke concludes the fall schedule with its annual Fall World Series Thursday, Nov. 11 – Saturday, Nov. 13. Associate head coach and recruiting coordinator

Jason Stein will face off once again as they draft the Duke squad into Blue and Black teams for the weekend. All three games will be at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and open to the public.
