- The Warriors began the reclassification process from Division II to Division I in 2019-20 and will become full members during the 2023-24 season.
What to Watch For
- Head Coach John Kerr is closing in on 100 wins at Koskinen Stadium, recording his 92nd home victory on Friday night against Liberty.
- Duke has had at least one All-ACC honoree in every season since 1976, including every year of Kerr's tenure.
- The Blue Devils are returning all four representatives of last season's ACC-leading group on the All-ACC Freshman Team. Ulfarsson, Antino Lopez, Lewis McGarvey and Peter Stroud are looking to take another step forward in their sophomore campaigns.
- Stroud is also the program's lone representative on the 2021 ACC Preseason Watch List. The Chester, N.J., native was named to the All-ACC Third Team last season and nearly had his first career goal on Friday, when his shot rang off the right goalpost in the 36th minute against the Flames.
- Kelly and sophomore Nick Pariano are set to cross the 1,000-minute played threshold. Pariano needs just six more minutes of play, while Kelly needs 24 minutes.
