HISTORY AT THE ACC CHAMPIONSHIP
Head coach
Marissa Young's squad will make its third appearance all-time in the ACC Championship. The program has made it every season since its inception in 2018 but holds an 0-2 record. This year's No. 3 seed is the highest in school history as the Blue Devils were No. 6 in 2019 and No. 7 in 2018. No. 6 Duke fell to No. 3 Notre Dame, 9-2, in 2019 and lost as the No. 7 seed to No. 10 Virginia Tech, 4-0, in 2018.
Â
HISTORY WITH THE CARDINALS
Thursday's matchup will be the eighth all-time between the two programs and the first meeting in postseason action. Duke holds a 4-3 edge over Louisville in the all-time series. The two teams met for the first time in three years a few weeks ago as the Blue Devils claimed the series, 3-1. Duke avoided the sweep versus Louisville in its first series back in 2018, picking up a 1-0 win in game three.

ALL-ACC NODS
A program-record four Blue Devils were named to the All-ACC First Team as junior
Deja Davis (shortstop) and senior

WEEKLY HONORS SECURED
Junior
Shelby Walters picked up a 2-0 record in three appearances in the NC State series, including the program's first combined no-hitter in Duke's 10-0 five-inning win on Friday night. The Cohutta, Ga., native finished the weekend with a 0.00 ERA through 10.1 innings, only letting up six hits and six walks, while striking out eight Wolfpack batters. The honor was the first of her career and fourth weekly pitching honor for Duke this season.
