In the Blue Devils' first race at the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual on Saturday, the V8 lineup of graduate student

McKendree Densel (bow) recorded a first-place time of 6:48.60, outpacing No. 7 Michigan and Michigan State.
It marked the first win over Michigan in the V8 in program history and served as the first of four winning performances for the Blue Devils at the Griggs Reservoir in Columbus, Ohio.
The honor is the second ACC Crew of the Week recognition for Duke this season, as the Blue Devils' 2V8 crew – which also featured Shunk in the stroke seat as well as Kuczura – garnered the award on March 10.
Duke's next competition is set for April 17-18, when the Blue Devils return to the Midwest for the Big Ten Invite in Cincinnati, Ohio.
