2016-17: Member of the V4 for the entire spring season … Started the year with nearly an 11-second victory at the Carolina Cup with a time of 7:27.1 … Helped Duke win the Carolina Cup with 99 overall points and a sweep of all five races … Came in second in the morning race of the Longhorn Invite with a 7:09.216 time … Performance moved the Blue Devils to the A Final, where the boat took third in 7:23.333 … Rowed to a third-place performance against No. 3 Michigan (7:08.0), No. 4 Ohio State (7:10.7) and Notre Dame (7:34.7) with a time of 7:24.1 … Rowed to a sixth-place showing in the Clemson Invitational A Final with a time of 7:32.920 … Qualified for the A Final with a second-place finish (7:16.027) first heat and third-place showing (7:26.044) in its second race … Took home the title at the Dale England Cup with a time of 7:45.7 to defeat Notre Dame (7:51.36), Indiana (7:55.52) and San Diego (8:05.7) … Raced to a third-place ACC Championship Grand Final finish, being edged by half a second by Louisville … Virginia won the race in 7:04.398 while the Cardinals crossed in 7:08.027 to Duke's 7:08.585 … Placed second in heat two during the morning session, clocking out in 7:34.147 to Louisville's 7:28.241 with the top three advancing to the Grand Final.
