No. 13 Duke Opens Action at ACC Rowing Championship Friday

DURHAM, N.C. – No. 13 Duke is set to open action in the 2026 ACC Rowing Championship Friday morning. The championship regatta will be held May 15-16 on Lake Wheeler in Raleigh, N.C.
Duke earned the No. 4-seed in the Varsity Four and the No. 5-seed in the Varsity Eight races. The Blue Devils' Second Varsity Eight, Third Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Four each earned the No. 7-seed to round out the competition.
The ACC Championship starts Friday, May 15 at 8:05 a.m. with the Third Varsity Eight followed by the Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight, Varsity Four and Second Varsity Four. There will be two heats of each event.
On Saturday, the Petite Final will be held prior to the Grand Final of each event with action set to begin at 8:05 a.m. The awards ceremony following Saturday's finals will take place at approximately 10:30 a.m.
Last season, the Blue Devils collected 89 points throughout the two-day regatta to finish fifth in the team standings. Strong performances from Lena Mills and Chloe Zollman earned the duo All-ACC third team and second team honors, respectively. Mills garnered all-conference honors for the second time in her Blue Devil career while Zollman earned recognition for the first time.
