CAMBRIDGE, MASS. – The Duke rowing program closed out its fall schedule at the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta in Cambridge, Massachusetts over the weekend.

The Blue Devils raced three boats in the Women's Alumnae 8+, Women's Championship 4+ and Women's Championship 8+ along the historic three-mile course, competing against crews from around the world.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Alumnae Eight crew of Sofia Papini, Lauren Brandmeyer, Noelle Fuchs, Meera Chakrabarti, Ella Harris, Olivia Von Stauffenberg, Audrey Petersen, Carly Abarbanel, Jane Atkeson kicked off the racing Saturday, placing 21st of 52 entries with a time of 17:55.501.
- The Championship Four boat opened Sunday's races and posted a strong showing, clocking a time of 17:50.641, good for seventh place overall. The lineup of Coxswain Lucy Herrick, Roslyn Bellscheidt, Chloe Zollman, Molly Hess and Nora Conaty finished less than one second behind the top boat from Brown in sixth.
- Duke's Championship Eight crew rounded out the competition with a 17th-place finish against a highly competitive field, crossing the finish line in 16:20.796, under two seconds behind the crews from Princeton and Northeastern that claimed 15th and 16th, respectively.
