The Blue Devils improved to 10-2 overall and 5-1 in the ACC, while Clemson fell to 6-10, 0-7.
"It was a good bounce-back win for us today after the tough loss on Friday," said Duke head coach
Jamie Ashworth. "I thought we executed better today at the beginning of games and sets. The start we got off to in singles across the board was one of the best we have had all year. We are looking forward to getting back to Duke and having a great week of practice."
Duke came out in doubles and jumped out to a lead on courts one and three. The Blue Devil duo of
Kelly Chen and
Georgia Drummy closed court three with a 6-3 win over Laura Marti and Ali DeSpain. Chen and Drummy won their 10th straight match to improve to 11-2 on the season, including a 4-0 league mark.
