Quotes
- "I really feel like this weekend, we kind of took a step backwards and we kind of rested on our laurels of, okay, we got into indoors.I just told them afterwards, we have to stay committed to getting better every single day and I think this past week of practice and that falls on us as coaches -- I don't think we did that. But we got through the two matches, which obviously is you have to be able to win when you're not playing great. But it's not the level we need to be to be able to compete with the best teams in the country. That's something that we have to work on and keep addressing every day."– Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth
- "I just felt like we weren't invested in all three areas that we talked about -- emotional, physical and mental. I don't think that we were fully invested in those for the weekend with all three of those.I think for us to be at our best, we have to be a little bit more vocal than we are on the courts.Someone on our team, you know, we don't have a lot of huge outgoing personalities, but someone needs to come out of their comfort zone and take that role over. I told them, as coaches, we can only do so much. They're the ones playing, and we need someone to step up in that position." – Duke head coach Jamie Ashworth
