DURHAM, N.C. – As the Duke baseball team prepares for the 2021 campaign, the Blue Devils are excited to announce the third year of the K's 4 Kids' Cancer campaign.
Â
Help the Duke baseball team strikeout children's cancer by making a pledge for every strikeout that Blue Devil pitchers rack up this season. All funds go directly to support cancer research and patient care at Duke Children's Hospital.
Â
"On behalf of our players and coaches I want to say with certainty that we are thrilled to partner with Duke Children's Hospital and the Duke Cancer Research Institute for a third straight year in the K's 4 Kid's Cancer initiative," Duke baseball head coach
Chris Pollard said. "This Duke baseball program has been known nationally for our pitching staffs racking up impressive strikeout numbers. To think that with each strikeout we can be making a difference in the fight against pediatric cancer or supporting a child that is fighting cancer is truly humbling and inspiring. I want to invite our entire Duke Baseball Family to get behind this great cause."
