Erin Marsh took silver and sophomore
Elasia Campbell claimed bronze in the women's high jump as Duke wrapped up Thursday's events at the ACC Indoor Championships.
Marsh matched her personal record of 1.79 meters (5-10.5 feet) and collected her second career medal at an ACC indoor meet after winning gold in the pentathlon last season. Campbell earned a medal in the high jump for the second consecutive year, as she also cleared 1.79m (5-10.5) to set a new PR and place third. Her height ranks fourth in Duke indoor history.
The Blue Devil women recorded 20 team points on the day and head into Friday at second place in the overall standings. The men finished day one in seventh place with 12 team points.
Senior
Leigha Torino ran her way into the record books in the women's 800m preliminaries, clocking a PR time of 2:05.72 that is good for fourth all-time by a Blue Devil.
In the men's 200m prelims, graduate student
Alex Schwedt finished with a 10th-place time of 21.48 seconds that moves him up to second in Duke indoor history. His mark ranks .02 seconds behind the school record holder, sophomore
Ezra Mellinger, who followed Schwedt with an 11th-place time of 21.55 on Thursday.
The men's 800m prelims saw freshman
Jackson Walker turn in another PR for the Blue Devils, finishing his run in 1:50.30. The sixth-place time puts Walker in the finals on Saturday and ranks fourth all-time at Duke.
The Blue Devils turned in more top times in the men's 5000m, as seniors
Josh Romine and
CJ Ambrosio both recorded top-five program marks. Romine picked up second-team All-ACC status by placing sixth with a time of 14:03.84, which ranks third in Duke indoor history and is the fastest 5000m run by a Blue Devil since 2015. Ambrosio finished eighth at 14:05.68, slotting in just behind Romine at fourth in the program record book.
Both the men's and women's distance medley relay teams earned bronze to cap off an impressive first day. In the men's race, the quartet of Walker, junior

Alejandro Rodriguez put together a total time of 9:46.37, earning Duke an All-ACC standing in the event for the second straight season.

Alex Kilpatrick continuing the heptathlon at 9:30 a.m. Sobota closed out Thursday in fifth place in the heptathlon, highlighted by third-place results in the 60m (7.04 seconds) and long jump (7.06 meters).
