DURHAM – With ACC Tournament positioning and a first round bye on the line, the 13th-ranked Duke men's soccer program (10-3-1, 4-2-1 ACC) will honor its four seniors in the final regular season home game of the year against Virginia (6-7-3, 2-4-1 ACC) on Friday night in Koskinen Stadium.

Last Time Out
- The Blue Devils played in its longest game of the season, battling to a 1-1 draw in two overtimes with No. 20 Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind.
- Sophomore Thorleifur Ulfarsson registered the only goal of the day, moving into double figures with his 10th goal of the season.
- Freshman Shakur Mohammed and sophomore Antino Lopez each tallied an assist on Ulfarsson's goal. Lopez earned the first assist of his collegiate career on the play.
- Senior goalkeeper Eliot Hamill made four key saves, including one in the final minute of overtime to preserve the draw.

- Duke and Virginia are set to continue the lengthy all-time series, as the two teams will meet for the 92nd time on Friday evening.
- Duke has won three of the last four meetings, but Virginia holds a slight edge in the all-time series, as the Blue Devils trail 39-42-10 overall.
What to Watch For
- Several scenarios are in play in the final weekend of regular season action as the Blue Devils angle for a regular season ACC title and a first round bye in the ACC Tournament.
- Should the Blue Devils win, they would secure one of the top four positions in the tournament, attaining another game in Koskinen Stadium on Sunday, November 7.
- In addition to a win, if the Blue Devils received losses or draws from Louisville, Notre Dame and Pittsburgh, the team would secure its seventh all-time regular season title.
- Following Mohammed's goal at Furman, the Blue Devils now have two players with 10 or more points. Sophomore Peter Stroud (9), freshman Felix Barajas (8) and sophomore Nick Pariano (8) are closing in on giving the Blue Devils three 10-point scorers for the first time since 2016.
- Duke has had at least one All-ACC honoree in every season since 1976, including every year of head coach John Kerr's tenure.
- Ulfarsson stands alone as the ACC points per game leader, averaging 2.10 per game over 10 games.
- Ulfarsson ranks second in the ACC in total goals (10) and third in total points (21). The Kopavogur, Iceland, native ranks in a tie for 12th in the country in goals.
- Hamill ranks near the top of several major statistical categories in the NCAA, ranking 14th in the nation in save percentage (0.803) and 28th in shutouts (five). The Scarsdale, N.Y., native also leads the ACC in save percentage.
- With five shutouts this season, Hamill is two away from entering a tie for 11th in the single season shutout rankings.
- The Blue Devils rank 17th in the nation in goal differential, outscoring opponents 31-12 over 14 games.
- The Blue Devils have gotten plenty of production from the freshman class, with 26 of the team's 90 points (28.9%) coming from them. Mohammed leads the way with 11 points, while Barajas has eight, Ruben Mesalles five and Bean two. Mesalles and Mohammed were recently named to TopDrawerSoccer's Midseason Top-100 Freshman List for their efforts.
- Graduate student Mateo Cornejo and seniors Hamill, Conor Kelly and Ian Murphy will be honored in a pre-game senior day ceremony in the final home game of the regular season.
