Tenth Annual First Pitch Banquet Set for Feb. 5

DURHAM – The Duke baseball program announced the date for its 10th annual First Pitch Banquet.

After a virtual banquet last January, the First Pitch Banquet will return in person on Feb. 5 at Blue Devil Tower on Duke's campus.

"The first pitch banquet is one of my favorite nights on the calendar year after year," Duke head coach Chris Pollard said. "It is an event that is so important to our program in so many ways. I want to challenge our former players, current and former parents, and all of the stakeholders that care about this Duke Baseball program to join our players and coaches in attending the 10th Annual First Pitch Banquet as we celebrate the 2021 ACC Championship, while also jumpstarting the 2022 campaign."

Banquet Information
The hot-stove-style event signifies the start of the college baseball season, giving attendees the opportunity to meet the 2022 Blue Devils and preview the upcoming season. The banquet will be headlined by a keynote speaker, which will be announced closer to the event.

The 2022 First Pitch Banquet will also be in conjunction with celebrating and honoring the 2021 Duke team that captured the programs first ACC Baseball Tournament Championship title. The team will be honored at the event and will be presented their championship rings.

Ticket Information
Both individual ($60) and corporate tables ($400) are available for the banquet. Duke baseball alumni and their families are also encouraged to attend for a discounted price of $20 each. Tickets are available for purchase now at this link.
