DURHAM, N.C. – Head baseball coach
Chris Pollard has released his team's ACC schedule for the upcoming season.
Â
The Blue Devils look forward to a conference-heavy 2021 slate that features three-game weekend sets against 12 league opponents. Duke's non-conference schedule will be released at a later time.
Â
Pollard, who enters his ninth season at the helm of the program, returns 32 letterwinners from a season ago and welcomes 14 newcomers to the squad.
Â
Duke opens league play with three consecutive home series, hosting Boston College (Feb. 26-28), Pittsburgh (March 5-7) and NC State (March 12-14).
Â
The Blue Devils then go on the road for the first time in league play when they travel to South Bend, Ind., on March 19-21 to face Notre Dame. The following weekend Duke returns to the Bull City for a three-game home series with Georgia Tech on March 26-28.
Â
Duke is away from Durham three of the four weekends in April, beginning the month with back-to-back road trips at Miami (April 2-4) and North Carolina (April 9-11). The Blue Devils lone home series during the month will be against Wake Forest on April 16-18. Duke closes out the month in Charlottesville, Va., when it takes on Virginia on April 23-25.
Â
The Blue Devils have a little time off from league play before they're back on the road again at Louisville on May 7-9. Duke returns home May 14-16 for its final home series of the year against Virginia Tech. Pollard's squad closes out the 2021 regular season conference schedule on the road at Clemson on May 20-22.
Â
Duke's home games will be played at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park in downtown Durham. The television designations and times for each game will be announced at a later date.
Â
As always schedules are subject to change, but changes will be published on social media and GoDuke.com if/when they occur.
