The ACC cancelled team competition among the 12 ACC women's golf teams on July 29, 2020 because of health concerns surrounding COVID-19. The ACC is allowing student-athletes, who are competing in golf, to remain eligible to compete unattached and they are allowed continue to practice at their school's discretion.
Earlier this fall, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced the launch of the GCAA Amateur Series powered by Golfstat, which is a series of amateur tournaments to be played from August through November of 2020.
