JAKARTA, Indonesia – Duke women's golf graduate
Jaravee Boonchant carded three straight rounds in the 60s over the weekend to claim the Indonesia Women's Open title, which was held at the Damai Indah Golf – BSD Course in Jakarta.
Boonchant, a 2021 Blue Devil graduate, posted rounds of 68, 69 and 66 for a 13-under-par score to win by two strokes over Prim Prachanakorn (205). In the final round, Boonchant registered seven birdies, including birdies on No. 16, No. 17 and No. 18 to win the title.
A native of Thailand, Boonchant was a member of Duke's 2019 NCAA Championship squad and was a four-time All-America selection under head coach
Dan Brooks.
The win for Boonchant marked her third career professional title as she also won the EPSON Tour Championship in 2022 and the BGC Thailand Masters in 2021.
