DURHAM, N.C. – Nine members of the Duke track & field program received All-Academic honors from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced Thursday. A total of 659 woman and 452 men across Division I programs earned the recognition for the shortened 2020 Track & Field season.
Additionally, both the Blue Devils men's and women's teams earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team status. All-Academic Team recognition requires a program to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Duke women's cumulative GPA at the end of the most recent academic year is 3.549, while the men's was 3.458.

Michaela Reinhart both earn the honor for a second consecutive year, while rising sophomore
Halle Bieber and recent graduate
Cassie Martin pick up their first USTFCCCA honor.
The Duke men were represented with four selections, led by
Matt Wisner, who finishes his Blue Devils career with three All-Academic honors.
Ben Beatty and
Jacob Sobota earned their second career recognitions, while rising sophomore
Beau Allen received his first such selection.
To qualify for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field Team, student-athletes must have recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher while finishing the indoor season ranked in the top 96 nationally in an individual event, or in the top 48 nationally in a relay event.
