2020-21 T&F: Opened the indoor season with a third place finish in the shot put, notching a throw of 17.89m (58-8.5 feet) and a seventh place finish in the weight throw with a throw of 16.13m (52-11 feet) at the Virginia Tech Invitational (1/15) ... Recorded a shot put of 17.45m (57-3 feet) for a fourth place finish and a weight throw of 16.70m (54-9.5 feet) for a ninth place finish at the Hokie Invitational (1/22) ... Picked up his second top-three showing of the season with a throw of 18.42m (60-5.25 feet) in the shot put, while taking home eighth place in the weight throw with a mark of 17.44m (57-2.75 feet) at the Doc Hale Virginia Tech Elite (2/5) ... 2019-20 T&F: Appeared in seven indoor events as a redshirt-junior ... opened the season at the Dick Taylor Carolina Challenge (1/11) with a then-PR toss of 17.53m in the weight throw to place fourth ... surpassed that mark a week later at the Virginia Tech Invitational (1/18) with a weight throw distance of 17.92m ... qualified for the ACC Indoor Championships in the shot put with a mark of 17.38m at Virginia Tech ... placed first in the shot put at the Tiger Paw Invitational (2/15), setting a personal-best mark of 18.01m that ranks second all-time at Duke ... broke the school record in the weight throw at the Virginia Tech Challenge (2/21), recording a distance of 19.08m to place second in the event ... placed third in the shot put at the Virginia Tech Challenge (2/22) with a mark of 17.14m ... at the ACC Indoor Championships (2/27-29), placed 11th in the weight throw (17.30m) and ninth in the shot put (17.06m) ... did not compete in any outdoor events due to the season being cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Personal: Son of Brenda Miller and Daniel Beatty…born on Dec. 18, 1997 in Fredericksburg, Va…has one brother, Jude, and one sister, Madison.
