Will Pulisic returns for his final campaign as one of the top 10 goalkeepers in NCAA Division I soccer according to Top Drawer Soccer. Pulisic came in at No. 4 on its recently released top 10 list.
"Pulisic is set to become one of the few goalkeepers in ACC history to finish as a four-year starter," wrote Top Drawer Soccer. "Pulisic's strengths rest in his composure and highly crafted technique, which could be used as a textbook example for any young goalkeeper."
A three-year starter in net for the Blue Devils, Pulisic has played all but 10:50 in his career. He is one of three goalies from the high-powered ACC on the list with the keepers from Wake Forest and Virginia joining him.
As a rookie, Pulisic started all 20 games and earned ACC All-Third Team recognition, the first goalkeeper to earn an All-ACC nod since 2012 and first Blue Devil rookie to do so since 2009. The following season, the native of Mechanicsville, Va., garnered All-Second Team honors and was an All-South Region third team pick.
Pulisic comes into the 2020 season having started 58 career games, posting 19 shutouts, and making 184 saves. He's ranked among the top four goalkeepers in each of his seasons and was third last
season with 3.50 saves per game.
He is equally impressive off the field, earning All-ACC Academic Team honors in each of his three seasons.
