What is your favorite part about working at Duke?
"My favorite thing about Duke is the people! I get to work with people every day that are some of the very best at what they do but are also so genuine and caring in what they do as well."
What does Duke mean to you?
"To me, Duke means excellence. It is something very apparent that everyone strives for on a daily basis in all that we do."
What is your favorite part about working with the Duke volleyball team?
"My favorite thing about working with the volleyball team is how kind and appreciative the team and coaching staff is! The girls always thank me after every game and whenever they see me around campus. I am very grateful for the amazing relationship I have with the coaching staff and how they always have my back."
What is one of your favorite memories from this volleyball season?
"My favorite memory from this season was when the team went to play at Hofstra University and my sister who is an undergraduate student there, worked the game for the athletic facilities department. Coach Nagel found my sister after the game and sent me a picture of them. It put a huge smile on my face to see them together! Coach Nagel always takes the time to get to know all of her support staff and the things that are important to them."
What is one favorite memory of working with the volleyball staff?
"The Athletic Facilities and Game Operations office and Blue Devil Network have an on-going competition of different sporting events that we play each other in every so often. For our second annual volleyball match, we asked the coaching staff to officiate. We all got a lot of laughs out of it and facilities and game operations was victorious for the second year in a row!"
Since COVID-19, what do you miss most about being on campus?
"I miss seeing our student athletes walking around and working towards getting to compete at the highest level every day."
