Lauren Cline,
Sarah Nelson and
Natalie Schilling had.
Samantha Amos
Visual and Media Studies
A native of Pittsburgh, Pa., Amos has been a steady presence at the net for the Blue Devils since her rookie season.
Appearing in 407 sets and 114 matches over the four-year span as a 6-2 outside hitter, she has 803 kills to her name. As a senior, Sam averaged 1.97 kills per set, added a .215 career hitting percentage and was named to the ACC All-Freshman Team during her first season with the Blue Devils. At the net, Amos collected 334 total blocks for a 0.82 block/set average that included 93 during her freshman year.
Amos was part of the 2018 squad that made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014.
Sam will graduate with a degree in visual media studies.
Lauren Cline
Masters in Management Studies
Cline joined the Blue Devils for the 2019 season as a graduate student transfer from Pacific.
The Bakersfield, Calif., native has 321 career kills to her name and 156 total blocks. This season, Cline appeared in 26 matches and is averaging 1.66 kills per set.
In her final season at Pacific, Cline 173 kills for a 1.53 kill/set average to hit .241 percent to go along with 70 blocks at the net.
She will graduate with a masters in management studies from the Fuqua School of Business.
Sarah Nelson
Economics
Nelson was one of Duke's mainstays at the setter position the past three years.
She played in 249 sets and 75 matches and has accumulated a whopping 1,358 assists, 42 service aces and 443 total digs. During her redshirt freshman season in 2017, the Los Gatos, Calif., native dished 616 assists for a 5.55 assist/set average and picked up 197 digs along the way.
Nelson was part of the 2018 squad that made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014.
Nelson has also been steady in the classroom, earning ACC Academic Honor Roll recognition twice and will graduate with a degree in economics and a minor in psychology.
Natalie Schilling
Public Policy
Schilling fought through injuries throughout her Blue Devil career and has always been a positive energy for the team.
Schilling played in 28 matches, knocked down 120 kills for a .218 hitting percentage and picked up 26 blocks over two years on the court.
Schilling was part of the 2018 squad that made the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2014.
Natalie will graduate with a degree in public policy with a markets and management certificate.
