Alex Springate to look back at the 2019 season and to see how she's adjusting to online classes.
Where are you now?
"I am home in Dallas, Texas with my family."
What are you doing to stay active?
"To stay active I am working out, spending time outdoors, cooking, and FaceTiming with friends"
How are you adjusting to online classes?
"It is very different to take classes online, but I am so appreciative for the professors and faculty at Duke for all their efforts to making the online process as smooth and easy as possible for us students."
What was your favorite memory from this season?
"My favorite memory from last season was beating ranked Oregon in 5 sets!"
What do you miss most about being at Duke?
"I miss being with my best friends every day, being around the best coaches, and Duke's beautiful campus."
Springate saw action in 22 matches during her sophomore campaign with the Blue Devils as a setter.
The Texas native dished 148 assists for a 2.69 assist/set average and added 67 digs.
In the match versus St. John's, Springate dished a season-high 21 assists just after her 15-dig performance against Hofstra the match before.
