Alyssa Marsh,
Kylie Jordan and
Emma Shuppert qualified individually while
Halle Morris,
Shayna Hollander,
Melissa Pish and
Sarah Snyder will be relay-only competitors.
Â
"We are very proud of the seven individuals that will be representing Duke at the 2020 NCAA Championships," Duke swimming and diving head coach

Â
Marsh qualified for the 2020 NCAA Championships in three different events, all of which she holds the Duke record for. The Davidson, N.C., native will compete in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle and 100 butterfly. The senior set school-record times in the 50 freestyle (21.78) and 100 freestyle (48.10) at the 2020 ACC Championships in February. At the NCAA Championships, Marsh has competed in the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly all three years, while competing in the 100 freestyle her freshman and junior seasons. In 2019, Marsh received honorable mention All-America honors in both the 50 freestyle and 100 butterfly, along with the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and 200 medley relay.
Â
Jordan will join Marsh in representing Duke in the 100 butterfly. A senior from Leesburg, Va., she sits second all-time at Duke in the event. Jordan will compete in the 100 butterfly at the NCAA Championships for the third consecutive season, finishing tied for 31st (52.98) in 2018 before receiving honorable mention All-America honors for her 13th-place finish (51.86) in 2019.
Â
Shuppert will compete in the 100 backstroke for Duke. The freshman swam a career-best 52.34 to place fourth in the event at the ACC Championships and improve her 'B' cut time and earn qualification to the 2020 NCAA Championships. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Shuppert sits third in Duke lure in the 100 back.
Â
Duke will compete in four relays in Athens – the 200 medley, 400 medley, 200 freestyle and 400 freestyle. The 200 medley relay received automatic qualification (an 'A' cut time) after swimming a school-record 1:35.93 at the ACC Championships.
Â
The Blue Devils are returning to the NCAA Championships after a record-setting postseason last year. Duke's 23rd-place finish last year was the second-best finish in school history. In addition, Duke's 400 freestyle relay, 200 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay finished 11
