DURHAM, N.C. – The No. 19 Duke women's swimming and diving squad earned a 158-142 win over No. 14 North Carolina Friday night inside the Taishoff Aquatics Center. The Blue Devil women snapped a four-meet losing streak to the Tar Heels, claiming their first victory over UNC since 2020. On the men's side, the No. 19 Tar Heels topped Duke, 205-95.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- The Blue Devils opened the meet with a win in the women's 200 medley relay, as junior Ali Pfaff, senior Kaelyn Gridley, freshman Heather White and senior Tatum Wall touched in 1:36.02.
- Duke swept the top two spots in the 100 back, with Pfaff taking first in 51.50 and freshman Tierney Lenahan placing second, swimming a time of 52.87.
- Gridley captured first in the 100 breast with a 59.07 time.
- Wall claimed her second first-place finish of the night, taking the 50 free (21.94).
- Duke secured the top two spots in the 100 free, with Wall clocking a time of 48.24 to win and White following in second, swimming a 49.06.
- Pfaff earned her third event win in the 200 back, clocking 1:52.49.
- Gridley notched another victory in the 200 breast, touching the wall in 2:10.04.
- White swam the 100 fly in 53.18 for a first-place finish.
- The 400 free relay squad of Wall, Pfaff, Logan and White posted a time of 3:14.32 for the win. Wall's leadoff split of 48.05 set a Taishoff pool record in the 100 free.
- On the boards, sophomore Keira Lu led the way for the women, earning first on the one-meter (331.13) and second on the three-meter (309.15). Her one-meter score ranks No. 3 all-time in Duke's record book.
- Senior Yannis Schattman paced the men's divers, winning the three-meter (360.90) and placing second on the one-meter (309.15).
