Niesenbaum To Compete at Valley Wrestling Classic

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke sophomore Jonah Niesenbaum will compete as an individual on Saturday at the Valley Wrestling Classic.

Niesenbaum is scheduled to face off in the heavyweight class of the college division and will take on Luca Colestock of Muhlenberg.

The Allentown, Pa., native was Duke's starter at 285 pounds last season. He finished the year with a 3-19 overall mark and earned his first career dual win against Robert Scherer of Virginia.

Saturday's event will be held at the Executive Education Academy Charter School in Allentown, Pa. Doors to the event open at 4:30 p.m. with the first of at least 11 matches beginning at 5 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door and attendance is limited to 125 fans.

Takedown Sports will broadcast the event.
