October 20

2016 – Women's Basketball – Led by Duke alumnae Alana Beard and Chelsea Gray the Los Angeles Sparks registered a 77-76 victory over the Minnesota Lynx to win the third WNBA Championship in team history.

October 21

2007 – Men's Golf – ACC Commissioner John Swofford announced the establishment of the ACC Scholar-Athlete Awards for all of the conference's sponsored sports, with the Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete Award being named after former Duke golf coach Rod Myers. The 34-year mentor of the Duke men's golf program was one of the mainstays of the Duke University athletic department and a well-respected member of the golf community. The group also voted unanimously to establish the Skip Prosser Award to honor the conference's top student-athlete among the league's men's basketball players. Myers, who passed away on March 30, 2007 after a battle with an acute form of Leukemia, led Duke to 30 tournament wins, including the 2005 ACC Championship. While at the helm of the Blue Devil program, Myers coached 16 All-Americas, nine Academic All-Americas, 24 All-ACC selections and three ACC individual champions.

October 22

2010 – Men's Basketball – Sports fans across the globe have made Cameron Indoor Stadium one of the "must see" stops on the Duke University campus for many years. On October 22, 2010, the history of the four-time national championship Duke Basketball program, directed by Hall of Fame head coach Mike Krzyzewski, was brought to life on a daily basis at the newly created Duke Basketball Museum, located adjacent to Cameron in the Schwartz/Butters Athletic Center. "The heritage and success of our basketball program and all of our sports deserve this level of recognition and celebration," said Duke Vice President & Director of Athletics Kevin White. "It is exciting for our entire department to see this come alive and hopefully give our fans and alumni another place to stop, enjoy, and relive their memories of Duke Basketball and all of our sports programs. We have a lot to celebrate."

October 23

2005 – Women's Golf – With rounds of 283, 280 and 271 for a three-day ledger of 834, Duke claimed the Stanford Intercollegiate. Duke won by a remarkable 27 strokes over eight teams in the top-20 and five in the top-10 nationally at the 6,025-yard, Par 71 Stanford Golf Course in Palo Alto, Calif. Janangelo carded a tournament-best round of 65 in the final round to claim individual medalist honors with an 11-under-par total of 202, which broke the Duke 54-hole record.
2019 – Men's Cross Country – Duke cross country runner Zach Kinne was named ACC Freshman of the Week in recognition of his performance at the Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Ind. Kinne paced the Blue Devils and led all ACC freshmen with an 8K time of 24:40.4, which placed him 81st overall out of 257 runners. It marked his second ACC Freshman of the Week honor of the season.

October 25

2009 – Women's Golf – Duke won the NCAA Fall Preview with rounds of 296, 297 and 288 for a three-day total of 881. The Blue Devils stormed back from being down 10 strokes to No. 1 UCLA and won by one over fourth-ranked Auburn and UCLA.
2015 – Women's Golf – The Blue Devils claimed the Landfall Tradition with rounds of 287, 284 and 284 for a total of 855. Duke shot nine-under-par, 855, at the 6,157-yard, par 72 Pete Dye Course located at the Country Club of Landfall.
