DURHAM, N.C. – After a battling to a 1-1 draw Thursday evening against Notre Dame, the ninth-ranked Duke women's soccer is set to welcome Syracuse Sunday afternoon for Senior Day, marking the regular season home finale.
The Blue Devils and Orange are set for a 1 p.m. kickoff at Koskinen Stadium, with the contest airing live on ACC Network Extra.

Duke received its lone goal of the matchup from senior
Ella Stevens, who collected her eighth goal of the season and scored for the second consecutive contest. Notre Dame got on the board with less than five minutes left in regulation before both teams went scoreless across the remainder of the contest, marking Duke's seventh tie of the season.
Duke vs. Syracuse
Sunday's contest between Duke and Syracuse marks only the fifth all-time matchup between the two programs. Duke is unbeaten across the four matches in the series history, owning a 3-0-1 record. Most recently, the Blue Devils defeated the Orange, 4-0, a season ago in Syracuse. Head coach

Unbeaten Streak Going Strong
Duke holds a 13-game unbeaten streak, which serves as the second-longest in the ACC. The Blue Devils have not been beaten since the second game of the season, where they fell to then-No. 2 North Carolina on the road in a non-conference matchup in the final game of the 2019 Carolina Nike Classic. Duke's 12-game mark trails only top-ranked Virginia in the conference, who holds a 16-game unbeaten streak.
Drawing NCAA & School Records
The Blue Devils have earned double-overtime draws in five of their last fsix matchups, pushing their draw total to seven on the season. Duke battled to a scoreless draw with then-No. 13 Georgetown in its home opener before recording a 1-1 tie in the ACC opener against NC State in double overtime. Prior to the team's most recent matchup with Clemson, the Blue Devils battled to three consecutive draws against top-ranked Virginia and then-No. 23 Virginia Tech on the road, before reaching a scorless draw against third-ranked North Carolina. Duke's seven ties this season are tied for the school record, which was set in 2007. The Blue Devils are also one scoreless draw away from tying the NCAA record for most scoreless draws in a season.

Sunday's match with Syracuse marks Senior Day for the 2019 Blue Devils. Duke's senior class is comprised of

Mia Gyau, Brooke Heinsohn,
Olivia Erlbeck and
Mackenzie Coles, while the duo of
Emma Carlson and Emily Wilson will also be honored. Entering into the weekend, the senior class owns a total of 61 victories, which serves as the second-most wins across a four-year span. Over their four years, they have reached one NCAA College Cup and one NCAA Quarterfinal, while capturing the 2017 ACC regular season championship.
Duke in the Polls
Duke checked in at No. 9 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll this week as one of five ACC teams in the top 15, and one of seven schools ranked in the top 25. Additionally, the Blue Devils are ranked ninth in the Soccer America Top 25, and 11th in the
TopDrawerSoccer rankings. Duke is ranked for the 55th straight week in the United Soccer Coaches Poll, dating back to the ninth week of the 2015 season, when the Blue Devils were ranked No. 22.
