DURHAM, N.C. – Prior to the start of the 2020 campaign, the Duke baseball program is excited to announce the date of its eighth annual First Pitch Banquet, set for Saturday, Jan. 25, in the Blue Devil Tower. Former Blue Devil standout and three-time All-American Vaughn Schill will serve as the event's keynote speaker.
"After two consecutive trips to the NCAA Super Regionals, there's a lot of reason to celebrate what's happening with the Duke baseball program," said head coach
Chris Pollard. "There's also so much to be excited about with this upcoming 2020 campaign. I can't wait to see all of our Duke baseball family back for the eighth annual Duke Baseball First Pitch Banquet. It's a night where everybody that's invested in our program comes back to celebrate what's happened and get excited about what's going to happen with this program."
The hot-stove-style event signifies the start of the college baseball season, giving attendees the opportunity to meet the 2020 Blue Devils and preview the upcoming season. Both individual ($60) and corporate tables ($400) are expected to go on sale soon.
Duke baseball alumni and their families are invited to attend free of charge. Alumni can register by using the
