Kinne Selected as ACC Freshman of the Week

DURHAM, N.C. – Duke men's cross country freshman Zach Kinne was recognized by the ACC this week for his performance at the Pre-National Invitational Saturday, Oct. 19, where he finished 81st out of 257 runners with an 8k time of 24:40.4.

Kinne finished first among all ACC freshmen in the race and first for the Blue Devils. The ACC Freshman of the Week accolade is the second this season for the Sewickley, Pa., native, as he earned the honor on Oct. 2 for his 10th place time of 25:04.4 at the Roy Griak Invitational in St. Paul, Minn.

Duke is back in action Friday, Nov. 1 at the ACC Championship in Blacksburg, Va.
