DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke volleyball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the 20th time in program history after earning an at-large bid to the postseason event Sunday evening.
The Blue Devils (16-11, 10-8 ACC) are set to face Loyola Marymount (20-9, 10-8 WCC) at 7:30 p.m. (ET) Friday, November 30 at Stanford's Maples Pavilion in Stanford, Calif. The winner of the Duke/LMU matchup faces the winner of No. 1 seed and host Stanford/Alabama State Saturday, Dec. 1 at 9 p.m. (ET).
The Blue Devils wrapped up the regular season with a pair of five-set victories at home, edging Notre Dame Wednesday before outlasting Miami Friday. Duke is one of five ACC teams in the tournament, joining Pittsburgh, Louisville, Syracuse and Florida State.
Duke last made the NCAA Tournament in 2014 and owns a 13-19 record in its 19 previous tournament appearances.
