Heath Named ACC Field Performer of the Week

DURHAM, N.C. – Blue Devil pole vaulter Madison Heath was named ACC Women's Field Performer of the Week following her performance at the Clemson Invite in Clemson, S.C.

Heath finished in second place at the Clemson Invite, clearing 13-10 (4.22). That was the fourth-best mark in the ACC this season.

The Mandeville, La., native also reached the second-best mark in school history this season when she cleared 14-1.75 (4.31) at the Carolina Cup. That is the fourth-best height in the country and gives her two of the top five marks in the ACC this year.

The honor is the first this season for Heath and the second of her career. She was also named ACC Field Performer of the Week on Jan. 24, 2017.

Heath and the Blue Devils will be back in action this weekend in New York, N.Y. as they compete in the Armory Invitational, Jan. 26-27.
