Volleyball Marketing Bulletin

DURHAM, N.C. – The Blue Devil volleyball team opens the 2016 season Aug. 26-27 in Cameron Indoor Stadium with the Duke Invitational. The tournament features six matches with Eastern Kentucky, LSU and UNCG rounding out the field.

As always, admission to Duke home matches is free of charge. In addition, this weekend's matches feature the following promotions:

Friday, Aug. 26 | UNCG | 7:30 p.m.

Fans who follow @duke_vb on Instagram and post a pic with the hashtag #dukevb will have the chance to participate in an on-court trick shot contest with members of the Duke men's basketball team.
Fans who come to all five matches against in-state teams – UNCG, North Carolina, Campbell, UNCW and Wake Forest -- will win a prize pack. To participate, come to the marketing table Friday, Aug. 26 to pick up your first stamp.

Saturday, Aug. 27 | Eastern Kentucky | 1 p.m.

The first person to post an Instagram pic with the hashtag #dukevb will win a prize. You must follow @duke_vb to be eligible.
The fan who generates the most likes on their Instagram pic will win a prize at the end of the match.
The first fan to send a video while winning a prize in the Super Serve contest to @duke_vb wins an additional prize.
The first fan to post an Instagram pic with a head coach Jolene Nagel photobomb wins a prize. The caption must include the #dukevb hashtag and the fan must follow @duke_vb to be eligible.
Fans who participate in all contests and stay to the conclusion of the match receive a prize.

Saturday, Aug. 27 | LSU | 7:30 p.m.

The tournament's final match features a the first of three Saturday Night Live themes. The fan who dresses up like any SNL character or cast member from 1975-80 (i.e. Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, John Belushi, etc.) wins a prize pack. There will also be a comedy-based trivia contest.
