•   Quinn Cook scored double-digit points for the 22nd game this season and the 68th time in his career. Cook moved into 37th on Duke's all-time scorers list with 1,343 career points.
•   Cook's 2-of-7 (.286) shooting performance from beyond the arc extended his consecutive games with a made three-pointer streak to an ACC-leading 35. Cook moved into a tie with J.J. Redick for second on Duke's all-time three point field goal streak list. Cook's last game without at least one made three pointer came against Maryland on Feb. 15, 2014.

On the Offensive End
•   Duke was outscored by its opponent in the first half for just the third game this season.
•   Duke had four players score double-digit points for the 14th time this season (Okafor-23, Cook-17, Winslow-12, T. Jones-11).
•   Duke committed more turnovers than its opponent for the seventh game this season.
•   Duke opened the second-half on a 16-4 run, shooting 7-of-8 (.875) from the field in the process. The Blue Devils shot 13-of-21 (.619) in the second half.
•   Duke's bench outscored the Syracuse bench, 15-0.

Duke's Defense
•   Syracuse committed nine turnovers, marking just the fourth game this season Duke recorded fewer than 10 takeaways.
•   Syracuse shot 7-of-11 (.636) from three-point range in the first half, the most made three pointers and the best three-point percentage in the first half by a Duke opponent this season.
•   Duke held Syracuse to 1-of-11 (.091) shooting from beyond the arc in the second half of the game.
•   Syracuse's 39 first-half points were the second most allowed by Duke this season. St. John's scored 43 in the first half on Jan. 25.

•   For the 25th straight game, three freshmen (Tyus Jones, Jahlil Okafor and Justise Winslow) started, marking the 60th time during the Coach K era three freshmen started. In 1982-83, three or more freshmen started 27 games, the highest number of games with three or more freshmen starting under Coach K.
•   With 23 points, Okafor led the Blue Devils in scoring for the 11th game this season.
•   Okafor scored 23 points, marking the 25th straight game he recorded double-digit points in a game. Okafor's 25 straight double-digit scoring effort extends his Duke freshman record for consecutive double-digit scoring games for a Duke rookie. Okafor also sits tied with Kyle Singler (2007-08) for eighth on Duke's freshman double-figure scoring games list.
•   Okafor recorded his ninth double-double (23 points, 13 rebounds) of the season, including his sixth against a conference opponent.
•   Okafor posted his eighth double-digit rebound game, pulling down 13 boards. Okafor now sits tied with Shelden Williams (2002-03) for fourth on the freshman double-figure rebound games list.
•   Okafor's 23 points moved him into third on Duke's freshman list for 20-point games, tying him with Mike Gminski (1976-77).
