Allen's Contributions•
Grayson Allen shot 11-of-13 (.846) from the free throw line and made 31 consecutive free throws dating back to Duke's game against VCU Nov. 20 before registering a missed free throw in Saturday's game. Allen's 31 consecutive made free throws ranks fifth on Duke's all-time list.
• Allen finished with his first career double-double after scoring 22 points on 5-of-15 (.333) shooting, and hauling in 11 rebounds.
Duke's Defense• Duke's perimeter defense held Buffalo to just 5-of-23 (.217) shooting from beyond the arc, including 2-of-11 (.182) in the first half. The first-half shooting performance was the lowest of the season for a Duke opponent. The 21.7 percent three-point field goal rate is also the lowest by a Duke opponent this year.
• The Blue Devils sent the Bulls to the line for just five free throw attempts in the first half. Duke opponents are averaging just 5.9 free throw attempts in the opening half of games.
• Duke forced the Bulls to commit 14 turnovers, the third-most this season by a Duke opponent and the most since Bryant posted 19 turnovers Nov. 14.
Duke on the Offensive End• Duke had two players score 20-or-more points for the third consecutive game (

Grayson Allen-22).
• The Blue Devils shot a season-low 14.3 percent (1-of-7) from beyond the arc in the first half. The team's previous low in the opening half of a game stood at 21.4 (3-of-14) which came in the season opener against Siena (Nov. 13).
• Duke was sent to the line to attempt 36 free throws in the contest, the fourth game this year Duke has attempted 30-or-more free throws and matching a season high. Allen led all Blue Devils with a game-high 13 free throw attempts.
Fresh Faces•
Brandon Ingram led all scorers for the second straight game after netting 23 points on 8-of-15 (.533) shooting. Ingram is shooting 18-of-30 (.600) from the field over the team's last two games and is averaging 23.5 ppg. over the two-game stretch.
• Ingram scored double-digit first-half points for the second straight game and the third time this season. He is averaging 7.7 points in the opening half this season and 16.5 first half points over the last two games.
• Ingram also registered career-highs in blocks (four) and rebounds (eight).
• After posting just three offensive rebounds in the first four games of the season, Ingram has brought down three or more offensive boards in each of Duke's last four games. He is averaging 3.3 offensive rebounds per game over that stretch.
