Grayson Allen netted a career-best 33 points to lead all scorers, marking the sixth time this season Allen paced the team's scoring. Allen last led Duke in scoring Nov. 22 in a game against Georgetown, scoring 32 points in the contest.
• Allen hit a career-high 15 free throws, shooting 15-of-17 (.882) from the free throw line, the second game this season he has connected on double-digit free throws.
Duke's Defense• The Blue Devils forced Long Beach State into committing 18 turnovers, the second most by a Duke opponent this season. Duke converted 24 points off of the 49ers' miscues.
Duke on the Offensive End• Four Blue Devils finished with double-digit points (Allen-33, Thornton-18, Jones-21, Ingram-14) for the seventh time this season.
• Duke shot 28-of-32 (.875) from the free throw line for the game, the team's highest free throw percentage in a contest this year.
• Plumlee was a perfect 3-of-3 from the field, his sixth game this season where he connected on all of his field goal attempts.
