Meyer Makes an Impact
Freshman middle blocker Leah Meyer is off to a strong start to begin her collegiate career ... She currently leads the team in hitting percentage (.305), total blocks (80.0) and blocks per set (1.00) ... Meyer has recorded eight matches with double-digit kills, including a career-high 17 Sept. 12 against UNC Wilmington and again Oct. 25 versus Virginia Tech ... Deichmeister Among Duke Assist Leaders
Redshirt senior setter Maggie Deichmeister continues to climb the Duke career assists chart ... She enters the week with 2,785 career assists and a 9.77 assist per set average, good for seventh and fifth in program history, respectively ... Deichmeister is the 10th setter in program history to top 2,000 career assists and the eighth to reach 2,500 ... She dished out a season-high 68 assists versus No. 18 Florida State Oct. 9, marking the third time in her career she has topped the 60-assist plateau and the second time this season (the other, Sept. 11 against No. 3 Stanford) ...
