• Duke moved to 2-1 on the season with the loss, the 33rd time during head coach Mike Krzyzewski's 36 year Duke career the Blue Devils started 2-1 or better to open a season.
• Duke used the starting lineup of Grayson Allen, Matt Jones, Brandon Ingram, Amile Jefferson and Marshall Plumlee for the third consecutive game and dropped to 2-1 with the five Blue Devils on the court to start the game.

• The loss moved Krzyzewski's all-time record to 1,020-311 and his record at Duke to 947-252.
