• Cook posted two assists against NC State to bring his career assists total to 451. Cook remains in 11th on Duke's all-time assists list.
• Cook's 4-of-7 (.571) shooting performance from beyond the arc extended his consecutive games with a made three-pointer streak to an ACC-leading 25. Cook's last game without at least one made three pointer came against Maryland on Feb. 15, 2014.
On the Offensive End• Four or more Blue Devils scored in double digits for the 12th game this season (Okafor-23, Cook-18, Sulaimon-11, Winslow-10).
• Cook and
Justise Winslow extended each of their streaks with a made three point field goal to 25 games and 15 games, respectively. The two sit first and second among the conference in that category, while Miami's Sheldon McClellan rounds out the top three with 10 straight games with a made three point attempt.

Fresh Faces• For the 15th straight game, three freshmen (
Tyus Jones,
Jahlil Okafor and
Justise Winslow) started, marking the first time since 1983 that three or more freshmen started 15 consecutive games in the Coach K era.
• Sunday's game marked the 50th time during the Coach K era three freshmen started. In 1982-83, three or more freshmen started 27 games, the highest number of games with three or more freshmen starting under Coach K.
• Two or more Duke freshmen scored double digits in a game for the 13th time this season (Okafor-23, Winslow-10).
