Football• With the victory, Duke improved to 4-0 for the first time since opening the 1994 campaign at 7-0. Since 1960, the Blue Devils have started 4-0 or better only four other times (1994, 1988, 1971 and 1965).
• Duke improved to 20-11 in non-conference games under head coach
David Cutcliffe. The Blue Devils have won their last 10 non-league regular season games and are 13-1 in the last 14 such contests. The 10 consecutive non-league regular season wins are the most in Duke history.
• The Blue Devils have won 12 consecutive regular season contests. The streak is the third longest active regular season winning streak among FBS programs, trailing only Northern Illinois (26) and Florida State (14). The 12 consecutive regular season wins are tied for the longest streak in Duke history. From Nov. 23, 1940 – Sept. 26, 1942 Duke also won 12 straight regular season contests.
• With the victory, Duke won for the 14th time in its last 18 contests. It is the winningest 18-game stretch for the program since claiming 14 of 18 contests from Oct. 28, 1961 - Oct. 5, 1963.
• Similarly, the Blue Devils have won 12 of their last 14 games for the most successful 14-contest stretch since winning 12 and tying once during a 14-game run from Sept. 29, 1962 - Oct. 19, 1963.
• With the 4-0 start,
David Cutcliffe has upped his Duke win total to 35. He trails Mike McGee (1971-78/37) for third on the all-time Duke chart by two wins. Wallace Wade (1931-41; 1946-50) owns the school mark with 110 triumphs.
• Junior kicker
Ross Martin scored nine points to push his career total to 243 and surpass Sims Lenhardt (1996-99/240) for the all-time Duke points record.

Ross Martin kicked six PATs to give him 126 in his career, surpassing Randy Gardner (1989-92/122) for the most in Duke history.

Ross Martin has made 82 consecutive PATs, the second longest streak in Duke history, trailing only 84 consecutive PATs by Will Snyderwine (2009-11).

Anthony Boone moved into ninth on the Duke career passing yards list, moving ahead of D. Bryant (2000-01), who had 3,902 yards.

Anthony Boone improved to 14-0 as a starting quarterback in regular-season games. Boone's overall record of 14-2 (.875 winning percentage) is good for the best winning percentage by a signal caller in program history.

Anthony Boone's 14 wins as a starting quarterback are the fifth most by a Blue Devil QB. Jerry Barger (1951-54) owns the program record with 17 victories.

Anthony Boone threw his first interception of the season on his 20th attempt of the game and his 125th attempt on the year. It is the second-longest streak to start a year without throwing a pick in Duke history. Ben Bennett holds the record with 126 attempts without an interception to start the season in 1983.

Anthony Boone moved into fourth on the career quarterback rushing touchdowns list with 14. He currently trails third-place Elmore Hackney (1935-27) with 20 career rushing scores.
• Senior wide receiver
Jamison Crowder hauled in 6 passes for 119 yards for his first 100-yard game of the season. He now has 220 receptions, good for the fifth most in ACC history and the second most in Duke history. Former Blue Devil

Jamison Crowder extended his consecutive games streak with two or more receptions to 32. The mark is the second longest streak among active NCAA receivers, trailing only East Carolina's Justin Hardy, who owns 40 consecutive games with two or more receptions.
Field Hockey• The Blue Devils split a pair of weekend contests, falling to Virginia and shutting out William & Mary to bring their season record to 7-1. The 7-1 start is the best for the program since 2004, when Duke went 18-5 and advanced to the NCAA title game.
Women's Golf• Duke's
Sandy Choi opened the 2014-15 campaign with a bang as the sophomore closed the Cougar Classic with an eagle and two birdies over her final four holes to claim her first collegiate individual title with an 11-under-par ledger at the 6,204-yard, par 72 Yeamans Hall Club in Hanahan, S.C.

Sandy Choi, who is from Seoul, South Korea, turned in rounds of 69, 68 and 68 for a career-best three-day total of 205. She claimed the title by one stroke over Wake Forest's Sierra Sims, UCLA's Bronte Law and UCLA's Alison Lee, who carded a 10-under, 206. The three-day ledger of 205 was two off the Duke 54-hole tournament record.

Leona Maguire's three-day ledger of 208 at the Cougar Classic tied the second-lowest score by a Duke freshman in school history.
• Rookie
Lisa Maguire also finished tied for 15th overall in her first collegiate tournament, including back-to-back rounds of 70 to close out the Cougar Classic.
Women's Soccer• Sophomore
Christina Gibbons netted her first career game-winning goal at Pittsburgh this past week as the Blue Devils netted a 3-0 victory to open ACC play. Gibbons now owns three goals over the first nine matches this season.
• For the second straight year,
Kelly Cobb posted two assists in the victory at Pittsburgh. She now owns four career matches with two or more assists. Over her career, Cobb owns 24 goals, 14 assists and 62 points.
