
Volleyball to Face Hawaii in NCAA First Round

DURHAM, N.C. – The Duke volleyball team is headed to the NCAA Tournament for the second consecutive season and 19th time in program history. After finishing the season with a 22-7 (14-4 ACC) record, the Blue Devils earned an at-large bid to the postseason championship tournament.
The Blue Devils are set to face Hawaii in the first round of the tournament in Seattle. Duke and Hawaii face off Friday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. (EST) at Alaska Airlines Arena. The winner of the Duke/Hawaii matchup faces the winner of No. 3 seed and host team Washington/New Hampshire Saturday, Dec. 6 at 10 p.m.
Duke is making is eighth NCAA Tournament appearance in the past nine seasons and 19th NCAA postseason trip overall. The Blue Devils have advanced to the second round of the tournament in six of the past nine seasons.
