Team Notes:
• Duke lost in Cameron Indoor Stadium for the first time since Feb. 11, 2009 when Florida State's Michael Snaer hit a game-winning three-pointer at the buzzer. The loss ended Duke's 45-game home win streak, which was the second longest streak in the nation and the second longest in Duke history.
• The loss was also Duke's first to an unranked team in Cameron Indoor Stadium in 64 games and the first to an ACC team in 20 games. The last time Duke lost to an unranked team at home was on Feb. 4, 2007 against Florida State.
• Duke is now 51-10 all-time when ranked No. 4 in the AP poll.
• The loss marked only the second time in series history that Duke has lost to Florida State at home. The Blue Devils are 17-2 all-time against the Seminoles in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Duke is 30-8 against Florida State during the 57-year series history.
• The lead changed hands five times in the second half. The game was tied seven times.
• Duke is 5-1 in games decided by six points or less this season.
• Duke and Florida State traded big runs in the second half. With the score tied at 47-47, Duke went on an 11-3 run – keyed by eight points from
Ryan Kelly – to stake a 58-50 advantage. The Seminoles countered with a 12-4 run to tie the game again at 62-62.
• Duke became only the fifth team all season to outrebound Florida State. The Seminoles entered the game with a +5.4 rebounding margin which ranked fourth in the conference.
• Duke had four double-figure scorers for the 12th time this season (
Austin Rivers – 19,
Andre Dawkins – 14,
Seth Curry – 12,
Ryan Kelly – 10), but suffered its first loss in those games. Duke is 11-1 when at least four players score in double figures.
• Four Blue Devils hit multiple three-pointers for only the fourth time this season.

Ryan Kelly hit two apiece.
• Duke got 13 of its 32 first-half points on second chance scoring opportunities. Florida State scored just two second-chance points in the opening frame and pulled down just one offensive rebound in the first half.
• Brothers Mason and
Miles Plumlee combined to nearly outrebound Florida State in the first half, combining for 13 rebounds to the Seminoles' 14.
• The Blue Devils hauled in 10 offensive rebounds in the first half – including six from
Miles Plumlee – while the Seminoles had just one offensive board in the opening frame. Florida State had just four offensive rebounds for the entire game.
• The Blue Devils connected on its first 13-of-17 free throws and finished 76.5 from the line.
• Florida State became only the third team all season to shoot 50.0 percent from three-point range against Duke. The Blue Devils are holding the opposition to a .327 three-point shooting percentage this season.
Player Notes:
Seth Curry
• Made his 32nd consecutive start. Duke is 26-6 during that 32-game start streak.
• Scored in double figures for the 12th time this season while hitting two three-pointers and recording three assists. Curry has at least three assists in 11 games this season.
Andre Dawkins
• Scored in double figures for the 10th time this season and in the fourth straight game. Dawkins leads Duke with 15.0 points per game in ACC play.
• Went 5-of-10 from the floor and 3-of-7 from the three-point line. Dawkins is shooting .500 (17-of-34) from three-point range over his last four games.
• Sank a key three-pointer with 3:10 remaining in the game to increase Duke's lead from one point to four (67-63). However, Florida State did not allow him to take another shot for the rest of the game.
• Converted his first three-point play of the season to put Duke ahead 53-50 in the second half.
Ryan Kelly
• Scored eight of Duke's 11 points during an 11-3 run in the second half. Kelly hit a three-pointer to put Duke ahead 50-47, picked off a pass and dunked it to put Duke ahead 55-50 and then hit another three-pointer to increase the lead to 58-50.
• Shook off an 0-for-5 shooting performance in the first half to score all 10 of his points in the second half. Kelly went 3-of-4 from the floor in the second half while hitting both three-point attempts.
• Registered multiple steals for the third time this season.
Mason Plumlee
• Made his 40th consecutive start. Duke is 33-7 during that 40-game streak.
• Continued his improved free throw shooting by going 2-of-3 from the line. Plumlee is 10-of-13 (.769) from the free throw line over his last three games.
Miles Plumlee
• Hauled in six offensive rebounds in the first half, allowing Duke to score 13 second chance points.
• Converted his fourth three-point play of the season just over four minutes into the second half to put Duke ahead 39-38.
Austin Rivers
• Scored in double figures for the team-leading 15th time this season and hit multiple three-pointers for the 12th time. Rivers is averaging 19.5 points per game over his last two contests.
• Put Duke in the lead twice and tied the game once in the final five minutes of the game. Rivers broke a 62-62 tie with a driving layup through traffic (4:17), broke a 69-69 tie with a free throw (1:12) and then sank another driving layup to tie the game at 73-73 on Duke's final possession (00:05).
• Scored 12 first-half points to give Duke a 32-26 advantage heading into the break.
Tyler Thornton
• Expounded his reputation of hitting big shots when he sank a three-pointer at the 13:38 mark in the second half to increase Duke's lead to 47-42.
• Dished out four assists just one turnover in his 17 minutes. Thornton boasts a 6.00:1 assist-to-turnover ratio in ACC play.
