The Blue Devils's 25-game winning streak came to an end with the
five-point road loss. The win streak was the second longest in school history
behind a 32-game winning streak during the 1998-99 season.
The 61 points were the lowest scored by Duke this season and first
time they failed to score 70 points in a game. The Blue Devils shot a season-low
31.1 percent from the field.
For the game Duke made 11 three-point field goals. It marks the
seventh time this season they have made 10 or more treys.
Duke missed its first 10 three-point field goal attempts in the
game before Ryan Kelly and Andre Dawkins made back-to-back three-pointers.
The Blue Devils trailed at the half for the first time this
season. They had only been tied once, 33-33 vs. Butler.
The 24 points in the first half were the fewest scored by the Blue
Devils this season. The previous low was 32 points against Bradley and
Maryland.
The first half field goal percentage of .281 was also the lowest
this season and first time Duke has shot under 30 percent in any half this
year.
Duke trailed by its largest margin of the season in the second
half at 40-29 but went on a 13-2 run with Andre Dawkins making three free
throws to tie the game at 42-42.
Dawkins and Seth Curry were a combined 2-of-14 from behind the
three-point line. Dawkins led the ACC in three-point field goal percentage
entering the game.

Singler recorded his sixth 20-point game this season and 38th of
his career.
With his 20 points Singler has scored in double figures in 110
career games and 15 of the 16 games this season.
He made five three-point field goals to give him 40 total treys
for the season. He has made three or more in five of the last six games.

Nolan Smith has scored in double
figures in 15 games this season and 74 career games.
Smith tallied a career-high six steals, passing his previous best
of four. He had two career games with four steals coming in to the game against
Tulsa and Virginia last season.
He recorded his fifth straight game with at least five assists and
12th this season.
Smith remained perfect from the free throw line in ACC play this
season with a 4-for-4 performance. He is 18-of-18 in the three conference
games.
He played all 40 minutes for the third time this season, all
coming in ACC play.
